Laura Marshall is the Chief Executive Officer of Icon Films, founded in 1990, an award-winning production company that has delivered factual content for the UK and international market over three decades. Throughout our journey, Icon Films has committed itself to creating advocacy films for important causes—often pro bono or not-for-profit. Sustainability has always been at the heart of the business, with careful attention paid to measuring, reducing, and mitigating our environmental impact. The identification, development and retention of talent at the company was a priority to me, and Icon Films became an anchor in the city’s creative landscape with a reputation for integrity in their filmmaking and a nurturing environment for their people
In 2023 Icon Films wound down active production.
