Nick Baker

Nick is the current Chair of Governors of Collegiate School, a former governor of the Downs School and trustee of Quartet Community Foundation.

With the Baker Trust, Nick has given substantial support to projects at the University of Bristol, University of the West of England, Bristol Zoo and the Bristol Old Vic theatre, as well as supporting numerous local schools, charitable and community organisations.

In his professional career, Nick is a serial entrepreneur, well known for developing Doom Bar Beer from a small microbrewery into what is now the world’s largest real beer brand. He is currently the Chair of numerous companies in the business services, asset management and property sectors.
