Nick Lee

Nick is a lawyer by profession and created Paragon Costs Solutions in 2010, which was ranked as a Leading Firm in 2023 and 2024 by Chambers & Partners. Paragon Costs Solutions primarily provides litigation support to other legal professionals. Nick is a Partner/Member in Thrings LLP and sits on the Audit Committee. He is an accredited Mediator and was ranked as a Leading Individual in 2023 and 2024 by Chambers & Partners.

Nick has been an SMV member since 2023. He is passionate about helping create a better community for today and the future.

His current roles include Quartet Community Foundation (Deputy Chair of Trustees and Chair of the Finance and Investment committee), Bristol Old Vic (Trustee) and Chair of the Ethnic Solicitors South West Network.

Previous roles included Enterprise Advisor (WECA) at City Academy (2019-2024), Bristol City Council Skills and Economy Board member (2019-2024), Governor at Montpellier High School (2023/24), Governor at Christ Church Infants (2016–2020), President of Bristol Law Society (2018/19), and UWE Law Advisory Board member (2019-2023).

The common theme amongst these positions is supporting the community and in particular the next generation.

Nick was born and raised in Bristol. His sporting interests include football, rugby and boxing. You might occasionally find Nick and his family supporting the local teams at Ashton Gate.
