This short film tells the story of a life-changing adventure that took place this summer. Students and teachers from three schools within Venturers Trust inspired us all with their courage and determination as they took part in an eight-week expedition. The Wettest Classroom on Earth sailed around the UK coast, with each shipmate learning, working, eating and sleeping on board the ship for seven days at sea before handing the ship’s wheel over to the next group of intrepid explorers.

Venturers Trust believes that every child should have access to a rich and challenging learning experience alongside opportunities that inspire ambition and pride. This film demonstrates that there really are no limits to what young people can achieve.

Individual members of the Society of Merchant Venturers generously funded the expedition for all Venturers Trust students.
