Following their spectacular double win at the regional Great British Care Awards in November, held at Ashton Gate, the team at Katherine & Griffiths House are heading to Birmingham next week for the highly prestigious national final.

When revealing the regional winner of the Care Home Team of the Year Award in November, the judges said: “This team’s dedication to making a difference is truly impressive. Their One Wish programme stands out as just one of many impactful initiatives they lead, showcasing their commitment and unique approach. They show passion and strength in creating meaningful change and always put residents at the heart of their home”.

Katherine & Griffiths House was also named Regional Winner of the Care Home Activity Organiser of the Year Award. The judges described Sabina Green, team leader of the Wellbeing Team, as having “numerous high-profile achievements” adding that “she excels at community engagement”. They also said that Sabina’s “fundraising efforts are exceptional and deserve recognition”.
